Hello, World!

Welcome to my personal blog!

It’s been a while since I did any sort of web publishing, or was really active on the internet at all outside of social media. It’s about time that changed. I’ve been actively expanding my grasp of various facets of the Information Technology industry, from basic support to advanced development and deployment. I’ve been administrating a minimum of 5 personal machines running various operating systems – primarily ArchLinux GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows 7, though I briefly dabbled with FreeBSD.

I want to start a blog to hopefully share some of the knowledge I’ve come across in the past few years, including – but not limited to:

  • Scripts for advanced automation tasks
  • Workarounds for common issues
  • Tutorials for compilation and modification of many open source projects
  • Combining basic command line tools to accomplish interesting feats
  • Addressing specialty needs for the modern IT professional

I hope you enjoy reading the things I have to post about, and that we can benefit from one another.
